Clover Mites

Clover mites are tiny, red pests that very abundant in wells fertilized lawns. They feed on plants and will sometimes infest peoples homes, however they will not attack people and without the plants the need to live they will not survive long inside a home. They will feast on over 200 different types of plants species so they can cause serious damage to a garden or lawn. During the sudden changes in weather they are more likely to try and get indoors through holes in window screens and cracks in doors, so it is important to make sure your home is locked tight. When in the home they can leave a bright red stain when they are crushed so they can do some damage to property in the home. The best way to prevent them is to clear out bushes and debris surrounding the house, and to keep doors and windows shut during the changes in weather.
